WHAT: On Tuesday, December 17, 2013, each of the 3,100 students at Chester Community Charter School (CCCS) will receive a gift for the holiday season, during the school's 15th Annual Santa Brigade, which will take place on CCCS' East, West, and Upland Campuses.

Students in kindergarten and first grade will receive a special visit from Santa Claus, who will hand-deliver gifts to their classrooms. Second-through-eighth grade students will have holiday parties in their classrooms, in addition to receiving gifts.

The gifts are a contribution by Vahan and Danielle Gureghian. This year's gifts totaled more than $55,000. Mr. and Mrs. Gureghian have donated an approximately $455,000 in Santa Brigade gifts since the program's inception, in 1999.

The Gureghians established the Santa Brigade as a community initiative to ensure that each student would have an enjoyable holiday season.
