Chester Springs Veterinarian Launches New Website Aimed at Helping Pet Owners

CHESTER SPRINGS, PA--(Marketwire - Sep 7, 2011) - The Chester Springs animal vet clinic, Eagle Animal Hospital has launched a freshly redesigned website, http://www.eagleanimalvet.com. Chester Springs, Exton, Downingtown, Glenmoore, and surrounding area residents bring pets to the Chester Springs veterinarian for a variety of pet wellness services including vaccinations, dental care, spay and neuter surgery, cardiology, pet dermatology, oncology, internal medicine, ophthalmology, digital radiology, and imaging. The animal vet clinic has an on-site laboratory and pharmacy as well. The website was redesigned to provide pet care and wellness information to pet owners and to provide information about the veterinary hospital.

The practice opened in 2008 and is jointly owned by Dr. David Matunis and Dr. Jennifer Granite. The veterinarians define the animal vet clinic's mission as providing comprehensive health care for pet owners and their animals. Dr. Jennifer Granite stated, "Our clinic and hospital function as a one-stop veterinary resource that performs medical, surgical, and dental pet care for local pets. Our website is an extension of that one-stop function, featuring various resources for pet owners."

The Chester Springs animal hospital treats a variety of different pets, including dogs, cats, and a variety of small animals. Dogs, cats, puppies, kittens, rabbits, ferrets, and other "pocket pets" can receive a variety of medical and surgical care from the veterinarians at Eagle Animal Hospital, including pet dental care, pet vaccinations and spay and neuter surgeries.

The new website features a section on "What To Expect," which explains how procedures likes vaccines and dentals work, as well as providing online forms, an appointment request feature, and a list of payment options. The online forms provide pet owners with the option of submitting forms via the website, which the staff says can save time upon arrival at the Eagle Hospital offices.

Pet owners may use the "Request An Appointment" feature online to submit a brief summary of contact information and pet information. The Eagle staff will then have a staff member contact the pet owner to set an appointment for the preferred time.

The "Veterinary Topics" portion of the website is devoted to providing information on selecting pets, bringing pets home, living with pets, and explaining veterinary terms. The "Vetopedia," part of the Veterinary Topics area, is a veterinary dictionary that defines the words commonly seen on the website and heard in the Eagle Hospital offices.

The "Video Newsroom," another part of the Veterinary Topics area, contains videos that discuss all aspects of pet care. These topics at the time of site launch included flea and tick prevention, caring for senior pets, avoiding dog bites, laser surgery for pets, feline retro viruses, fighting canine cancer, pet wellness and pet microchips.

The new veterinary hospital website has dedicated a portion of the site to a veterinary blog, which will be used to update pet owners and site visitors on news from the Eagle hospital itself as well as news from the world of veterinary care. Site visitors are encouraged to leave feedback on the blog and ask questions. "Our new website will be a valuable resource for local pet owners. We want to share our knowledge with pet owners to help them raise healthy and happy pets," says Dr. David Matunis. Pet owners interested in learning more can visit the website at http://www.eagleanimalvet.com.
