Cheyenne Energy Announces Significant Production
Addition

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(CCNMatthews - March 7, 2005) - Cheyenne Energy Inc.
(TSX VENTURE:CHY) ("Cheyenne" or the "Company") announces that the
Company's 93% working interest well at Cessford has been put on stream.
The well began production from the Glauconite formation four days ago at
1.2 million cubic feet ("mmcf") per day and has increased to over 1.4
mmcf per day on an 8 mm choke. The flow of natural gas from the well
will be increased over the next two weeks to approximately 2 mmcf per
day on a restricted choke.

Production from the Company's 100% working interest natural gas well at
Camrose has also returned after being temporarily shut-in awaiting
equipment repair and servicing.

With this activity from the Company's core producing areas, production
will eclipse 375 barrels of oil equivalent ("boe") per day, a
significant increase and a Company high. The natural gas component of
that production is over 95%.

The Company's upcoming activities include plans for the drilling of
three additional 100% working interest Glauconite developmental wells in
the Company's Camrose operating area. The Company has nearly 2,000
undeveloped acres with Glauconite potential at Camrose.
