Chicago Executive Named New President & CEO of Global Christian Business Leader Group

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwire - Aug 31, 2011) - The Fellowship of Companies for Christ International (FCCI), a laser-beam discipleship ministry for Christian business leaders, announced today the appointment of Terence Chatmon as President and CEO, effective immediately.

In making the announcement, Bobby Mitchell, Founder and Chairman of FCCI, said, "We are blessed to have Terence as our new top executive. He brings a diverse, 20-year background in corporate, entrepreneurial and non-profit ministry leadership. He is a mature person of faith, a visionary and strong relationship-builder with a proven track record of integrity and fruitfulness. We believe he is the kind of humble, passionate leader with whom our members will relate, someone who will genuinely lead FCCI by daily Christian example."

A graduate of the University of Illinois concentrating in Marketing, Chatmon's corporate business career included leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson, Citibank, and Coca Cola. He then transitioned into entrepreneurship, as a multi-store Atlanta Bread Company franchisee. From there, he focused his energies on non-profit ministry. First, he became a teen ministry leader and elder at Perimeter Church in Atlanta, and a teacher for Bible Study Fellowship. Then, after authoring a popular Bible-based family enrichment course, he was noticed by Dr. James Dobson and joined Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs as Vice President of Community Impact Outreach. Most recently, he served as President of Urban Ministries in Chicago, the largest independent African-American publishing and media company in the United States.

Chatmon's first public appearance will be at FCCI's 32nd annual global leadership conference on September 25-29 at the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, Florida. Registration is still open.
