Chief Mom Joins True Drinks

True Drinks Creates New Position to Aid Brand Awareness and Build Parenting Network Focused on Healthy Kids

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - January 26, 2016) - True Drinks Holdings, Inc. (OTC PINK: TRUU), a healthy beverage provider and maker of children's beverage, AquaBall, today announced the hiring of influencer and part owner of the social education community Club MomMe, Aubrye Foote, as the Company's new Chief Mom. In this role, Foote will be building brand awareness by specifically harnessing her perspective as a mother and a parent and engaging the vast network of moms in the social space.

Kevin Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer and interim Chief Executive Officer of True Drinks, stated, "We are excited to have Aubrye join the AquaBall team as our Chief Mom. Her past experiences and future involvement in key business decisions will help our executive team understand and connect with one of our most important audiences. The unique and unconventional job title serves as a way for our business to be transparent about her role, as well as encourage other businesses to do the same. We are trying to go beyond brand ambassadorship and, instead, put a real mom behind AquaBall, available to speak alongside moms rather than at them."

Foote, a California native, spent 18 years working in finance before leaving the industry to care for her newborn daughter. Foote is co-owner of Club MomMe, a platform for moms, expectant parents and families to converse and meet through their website and sponsored events. As the Vice President, Foote ran Orange County events, partnership relations, and internal communications strategies for the brand and was instrumental in their expansion into multiple cities.

Additionally, the Chief Mom title will provide Foote a platform to address a larger network of parents across the nation, promoting healthier lifestyles and alternatives to sugary foods and beverages.

"As a parent, children's health has always been important to my husband and me, yet we often struggle trying to find healthy alternatives that still deliver on both taste and nutrition for our daughter. Sugar has infiltrated the market, especially the children's beverage space, and I think parents need to be aware of the negative effects that all of these sugary beverages can have on their children," says Foote. "As the Chief Mom, I plan on becoming more vocal about children's health and starting crucial conversations surrounding healthier choices with those [parents] who make decisions about their children's well-being."

The integration of Foote into the brand, will supplement efforts moving forward with any and all new brand announcements and company decisions.
