Child Watch & "Eye's of America" Salute Governor Bush & State Legislature for Passage of Jessica Lunsford Act

DVD Movie Production Nears Completion as Youth Singing Groups Rally Around New Florida State Law

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 9, 2005 -- Gov. Jeb Bush signed legislation on May 2, 2005, that strengthens punishment and monitoring of child sex abusers. The Jessica Lunsford Act requires those who prey on children under 12 to be sentenced to a minimum mandatory 25 years in prison and, if they get out, to be tracked for life. The bill would require people convicted of certain sex crimes against children a lifetime of tracking by global positioning satellite once they're outside of prison. The bill also requires more monitoring of people convicted of molesting older children. The new requirement only affects people convicted in the future, but it also has a provision that provides for GPS tracking of sex offenders who violate probation. Child Watch of North America and "Eye's of America" endorsed this important legislation and salute Gov. Bush and the State legislature for its speedy passage. Concurrent with the legislative process, the Child Watch project "Eye's of America" started production of a DVD movie designed to educate and heighten awareness of child abductions for families and educators. The DVD movie will be distributed at no cost (except for a small shipping charge when applicable) and will be available on the Internet for free downloads. Production is slated for completion this week and projected for release on May 25, 2005, for National Missing Children's Day, as proclaimed by President Bush. The movie is being filmed entirely on location in Cocoa Beach and Orlando, Florida and attracted youth singing groups who have rallied behind the new law and the efforts of Child Watch. Most notably, KidSational Records teen singing sensation TGK will perform in the movie. The Orlando group comprised of James, Gina, Ivette and David are currently recording their first album in the U.S. TGK has caught the eye of British pop guru Simon Cowell, who has endorsed TGK and said, "I think they are going to be HOTT on both sides of the Atlantic."

A music video is also being produced that will feature the Kid Power Kidz, comprised of Marco, Cookie, Michelly, Andrea, Sam and 2Shay. The music video is a production of Kidsational Records and Starpower Productions, LLC and will be released for distribution on May 25, 2005.

Child Watch of North America is a 501 C (3) charity dedicated to finding missing and abducted children throughout the United States. "Eye's of America" is a project of Child Watch, designed to heighten awareness of child abductions and educate children and parents on how to protect themselves.
