BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 28, 2012) - Children's Education Funds Inc. ("CEFI") announced today that Al Haid will replace Peter Math as President and Chief Executive Officer of CEFI on October 1, 2012.
CEFI is an investment fund manager and promoter of The Children's Education Trust of Canada which was established to offer education savings plans to assist parents, grandparents and others to fund tuition and other expenses for Beneficiaries who pursue a post-secondary education. The Children's Education Trust of Canada is administered by The Children's Education Foundation of Canada (the "Foundation"). The Foundation has been assisting Canadian families in saving for their children's post-secondary education since 1991 and administers over $955 million for Canadian families. CEFI is a registered scholarship plan dealer under the securities legislation of each of the provinces and territories of Canada.
Mr. Haid is the founder of CEFI and has over 20 years of industry experience. Mr. Haid's demonstrated passion and expertise will lead CEFI forward in its goal to assist families to save for post-secondary education while striving to provide excellent service and a range of education savings plans.
