| Source: China Crescent Enterprises, Inc.
DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - June 18, 2009) - China Crescent Enterprises, Inc. (OTCBB : CCTR )
continues to work toward expanding the Company's $40 million in profitable
revenue through growing its percentage of revenue from sales outside of
China. The Company is concentrating on foreign sales as part of a strategy
to increase operating margins. Today, the majority of China Crescent's
sales are derived from the sale of products and services within China.
China Crescent's existing resources within China can potentially support
higher gross margin sales outside of China.
The Satellite News Gathering Vehicle (SNG Vehicle) is manufactured by
Gaozhi, headquartered in Shanghai. The mobile digital signal satellite
solution is assembled in China. With the lower labor rates and new tax
laws, the mobile digital signal solution is a cost effective solution.
Gaozhi and China Crescent have partnered on numerous past projects and are
collaborating again to expand the sale of Gaozhi's mobile digital signal
satellite solution worldwide. Gaozhi currently has approximately $100
million in annual sales and specializes in manufacturing innovative
telecommunication products and providing telecommunication services.
Gaozhi's offerings include IPTV set top boxes, customer specific satellite
downlink services, and customer specific private network management.
Gaozhi customers include Chinese police forces and the Shanghai Stock
Exchange.
The SNG Vehicle is a timely offering to support a growing worldwide demand
driven by the globally increasing number of TV channels and the
corresponding demand for late breaking onsite news. The SNG Vehicle is
also a key asset necessary for the growing number of mobile network
providers to provide routine and emergency network maintenance. SNG
Vehicles are being used more and more frequently by police and defense
forces in rapid response and onetime event security scenarios.
China Crescent, through its family of sister operations, has sales
operations in North and South America as well as East Africa. The Company
is also prepared to deploy set up, training and maintenance teams
throughout the world.
