China Education Resources Inc. Retains Segue Ventures, LLC as Strategic Business and Investor Relations Consultant

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 23, 2007) - China Education Resources Inc. (CER, the Company) (TSX VENTURE:CHN)(PINK SHEETS:CHNUF), an education resource provider in the development, sales, and distribution of education materials and web portal services to China's kindergarten to grade 12 market, announced today it has again retained the United States firm Segue Ventures LLC ("Segue") as strategic business and investor relations consultants.

Mr. Chengfeng Zhou, Chairman and CEO of the Company, remarked, "We are very pleased to be able to engage the services of Segue once again. Segue Ventures' purpose in the agreement is to provide strategic advice to the Chairman and to act as the Company's investor relations and public relations manager. Segue Ventures will establish a strategy for the Company that will effectively communicate China Education's business and highlight their potential as an investment to the media and financial communities.


In collaboration with China's Ministry of Education Curriculum Development Center, China Education Resources Inc. (CER), is helping to transform the curriculum of the world's largest educational system. Recognizing the need for centralization and increased accessibility to address the Chinese Central government's 2000 education reform policy changes, China Education Resource Inc. has created educational tools and curricula for China's entire kindergarten through twelfth grade system. By implementing the government's goal of converting the existing educational system from memory-based learning to creative thinking and utilizing a more interactive approach to embrace a world-based economy, CER has played an integral part in positioning China's educational system to reach new heights.


The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based company, founded by its President, Mr. Craig Bird, has specializes in micro-cap companies. The agreement contemplates services being provided for one year ending August 20th, 2008, renewable for a further twelve month period ending August 20th, 2009. Under the terms of the Agreement Segue, will be paid US $9,000 for the first month and US $7,000 per month thereafter as well as an incentive stock option grant of 100,000 common shares at CDN $0.60 per share subject to the established terms and conditions of the Toronto Stock Exchange.
