China Media1 Corp.: Update on the Outdoor Sign Design and Contract

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 17, 2006) - China Media1 Corp. (OTCBB:CMDA), the owner and operator of premiere Chinese advertising media assets, including leading edge illuminated multiple scrolling poster displays, wishes to announce:

1. Since the installation of a test outdoor display sign at the Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport, the newly designed display sign has gone through a series of enhancements, including (i) a new 4-line LED display, (ii) a new exterior finish, (iii) better poster guide rails, (iv) relocation of the control unit, and (v) a new lighting system that minimizes hot and cold spots.

2. The above enhancements were done in conjunction with the Guangzhou New Baiyun International Airport and in spite of the delays; the contracts are in good standing. The Indoor sign, which is not a new design, will not require the prolonged design period and can be installed right after the outdoor signs.

3. We have started negotiations with a third party that represents several major airports in China for similar advertising space.

Mr. Hanxiong (Adrian) Cai, President and Chief Executive Officer of China Media1, commented, "The outdoor signs are a brand new design from scratch. It has taken longer to finally have a machine that meets the requirements of all the parties. We are working on a schedule with the airport authorities to start installations."
