China's Installed Capacity of Wind Power Could Reach 4,000 MW This Year

Installed capacity could reach 4,000 megawatts (MW) by the end of 2007, said Li Junfeng, Secretary General of the China Association of Resource Comprehensive Utilization, at the Second Forum on Renewable Energy. China's wind-generated electricity capacity is likely to exceed 5,000 MW next year, two years ahead of the national development plan.
