Chip Foose and Catalyzed Fuel Tech to Unveil "Holy Grail of Fuel Technology" at SEMA

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Nov 3, 2014) - At the 2014 SEMA Show, Chip Foose and Catalyzed Fuel Technologies (CFT) will unveil the Foose Performance Fuel Converter, a product extension of a patented new fuel technology scientifically proven to increase power and fuel efficiency while reducing up to 99.9% of emissions.

"When I first spoke with Chip about the Phoenix Fuel Converter he didn't believe it, no one does," says CFT President & CEO Robert C. Coffman. "After showing Chip the test results he wanted the fuel converter installed in his personal truck. After three months, Chip wanted a street rod version with his name on it."

The company engineered the Foose Fuel Converter for increased horsepower and maximum fuel combustion, the Phoenix Fuel Converter was specifically engineered for fuel efficiency and cleaner emissions.

"This technology will change street performance as we know it," says Chip Foose. "There's not another device out there that increases horsepower without sacrificing fuel consumption. Once fleet operators get their hands on this, the fuel savings will be in the millions and impact on the environment and air quality will be priceless."

The Phoenix Fuel Converter underwent independent testing in December of 2013 at Intertek Laboratories in San Antonio, Texas. The results, available from CFT, show that the device converted normally-unused large hydrocarbons into a combustible form, essentially converting waste into an energy source and increasing the efficiency of any Carbon chain-based fuel. One major finding was the conversion of 100% of Carbon C-13 into combustible fuel (a conversion totaling 185.3Mw).

The company has built and successfully tested this patented technology in engines burning diesel, gasoline, and natural gas, and for commercial applications including shipping vessels, freight trucks, industrial boilers, and more.

"Our estimates based on independent testing show that over three years, a fleet of 1,200 trucks would save between $5.8MM and $7.8MM in fuel costs, reducing strains on DEF devices and increasing the breakdown of dangerous hydrocarbons otherwise released into the atmosphere," states inventor Scott Taucher. "It's the only device you can put into an engine that delivers a true ROI."

The Foose Fuel Converter will also be on display at SEMA in the BASF booth (#21455), on the Foose-designed 1960 Ford Starliner.

Mr. Foose, Team Kalitta, CFT owners Robert C. Coffman, Bradford Hall and the inventor, Scott Taucher, will be displaying the entire line of Phoenix and Foose Fuel Converters at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, NV at booth (#34277) on November 4th through 7th. The Foose Fuel Converter will also be on display at SEMA in the BASF booth (#21455), on the Foose designed 1960 Ford Starliner.
