In business since 1939, Chipman is a multi-generational family owned and operated company with offices and warehouses across the West Coast. Best known for door-to-door domestic and international moving services, Chipman also provides global freight forwarding and custom logistics solutions, including warehousing and distribution, transportation and asset management. The rebrand goal is to increase awareness of those services.

The new site with "sleek and uncluttered design" is faster and easier to navigate, says Padron. Forthea Interactive Marketing, based in Houston, Texas, designed and developed it.
Although Chipman's previous website included warehousing and distribution service offerings, it primarily featured residential and commercial moving and storage. The redesigned site places more emphasis on Chipman's suite of logistics services.
The redesign also brings additions to Workplace and Residential offerings. Commercial workplace services, ranging from office relocation to machinery moving, now also includes tradeshow, asset management, and decommissioning services.
Military/Government relocations was added to Residential services. Chipman, a General Service Administration (GSA) approved carrier, offered military storage through the previous website, but did not feature government moving services.
Container relocation and auto transport were also added to the Residential section, as were more moving tools and tips. Visitors can get tips on how to pack and move a wide variety of household items, watch videos on packing and moving, and track their shipments.
