The Financial Times identified its "300 Top Registered Investment Advisers" based on assets under management (AUM), asset growth, years the firm has been in existence, industry credentials of staff, SEC compliance record, and accessibility. Only independent, RIA practices whose institutional assets did not exceed 75 percent were considered.
