Choose ATL Takes Home Two 2014 Atlanta American Advertising Awards

Nebo Awarded for Creating Community-Driven Campaign to Promote Atlanta as America's Tech Hub

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Mar 3, 2014) - Nebo, an Atlanta-based digital marketing agency, has won two 2014 Atlanta American Advertising Awards for work on the Choose ATL campaign. The Atlanta Ad Club has recognized Nebo and Choose ATL with Silver awards for the following categories:

  • Digital Advertising - Micro Sites
  • Elements of Advertising - Visual

Choose ATL is a metro-wide, city-supported grassroots effort to brand Atlanta as the ideal place to live, work and start a business. Nebo conceived the campaign and led the way in forming a committee of key local influencers to enhance positive perception of the city. Since its launch in October, the campaign has garnered an overwhelming level of community support. With inspirational digital content and an integrated social campaign, Choose ATL has sparked hundreds of positive online conversations.

Nebo built the microsite for Choose ATL -- -- that serves as the cornerstone of the campaign. The microsite features a number of innovative elements, including video backgrounds, an interactive map, Why We Love ATL video and a job search tool. Nebo wanted people to understand what it's like to live in Atlanta, discover ways to work here, why they should startup here and why residents love it here.

The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry's largest competition, attracting more than 40,000 entries annually in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. A panel of judges scores every entry in each category by evaluating all creative dimensions of the submissions.
