Christian Children's Fund of Canada Appoints Three to Communications Team

MARKHAM, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 15, 2013) -

Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC), an experienced, child-focused international development organization, recently fortified its communications team with the appointment of three new staff members.

Sandra Upeslacis has joined CCFC as Director of Strategic Communications. Sandra has more than 20 years of private sector and not-for-profit communications experience. Most recently, she led the corporate communications and crisis and issues management team at the Central Local Health Integration Network. Sandra has also held the position of Vice President at NATIONAL Public Relations and at Strategic Objectives, and is a former a print, radio and television journalist.

Teresia (Terry) Mutuku joins CCFC as Manager of Communications. Terry has more than 15 years of international, not-for-profit communications and fundraising experience. She has managed content and people for global and regional organizations, managed websites and social media, and produced print and e-publications, while working for a variety of faith-based, social justice and government organizations in Toronto, Uganda, Kenya and Italy.

Vicki Quigley is CCFC's new Communications Specialist and Managing Editor. Vicki has over 10 years of writing and editing experience gained in marketing communications and public relations working within agencies, not-for-profits and businesses. Most recently she was a Senior Writer with Blakely & Associates, an agency specializing in the non-profit sector where she helped more than 20 not-for-profit clients meet their fundraising goals, including more than a dozen hospitals, foundations and faith-based organizations.

Felicitas Adrian, Vice President, Fund Development and Communications at Christian Children's Fund of Canada, says the new team is well positioned to support CCFC as the organization launches a brand revitalization strategy.
