At the 2010 United States Junior Olympics, both Emily LeBert, age 12 of Lafayette, LA and Tony Maiolatesi, age 14 of Ocean Springs, MI, won gold medals in Tumbling for their respective gender and age groups (Level 9, 10). Both gymnasts followed up with additional gold medal wins, Emily in Trampoline and Tony in Double-Mini Trampoline. Tony also won the bronze medal in Trampoline, bringing his total number of national championship titles to nine. Most recently, Emily attended the Olympic Development Camp where she was one of eight girls selected to be a member of the U.S. National Team, which represents the U.S. in national and international competitions.
