Chunghwa Post Experiential Marketing -- Riveting the International Philatelic Market

TAIPEI, TAIWAN--(Marketwired - Aug 17, 2015) - To promote PHILATAIPEI 2016, and invite philately devotees from around the globe to come to Taiwan to attend, the Chairman of the Chunghwa Post Co., Mr. Philip Wen-chyi Ong, personally led a team to the Singapore 2015 World Stamp Exhibition, during which a grand promotional-campaign soiree was staged. It was held on August 17, starting at 7pm, at the Cassia ballroom of Marina Bay Sands Singapore. A total of 350 VIP guests were invited to attend the extravaganza, notably representatives from the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore, the President of the Inter-Asian Philately Federation (FIAP) along with coordination and evaluation committee members, as well as national postal authorities, stamp dealers, and Chinese-community dignitaries from around the world.

Stated Chunghwa Post Chairman Ong: "Taiwan is a special place. What visitors find most memorable are the warm hospitality of the people and the pulsating dynamism of the culture. Before the Taipei 2015 - 30th Asian International Stamp Exhibition, I cordially invited everyone to come to Taiwan -- and you all came! Today, I once again invite one and all of our esteemed friends to meet together next year for PHILATAIPEI 2016, the first staging of this event, and experience Taiwan's charms." The Taipei Night celebration saw the special use of original color, original hometown culture, original flavors, and original sounds to showcase Taiwan's distinctive color, story, cuisine, and music. This was complemented by a simple Western-style buffet dinner, creating an evening party with a dynamic Chinese-Western cultural exchange that was thoroughly enjoyed by both guests and hosts. Chunghwa Post hopes that in the gathering's short two hours guests were imbued with a sense of excitement and anticipation for PHILATAIPEI 2016, not only stimulating participation in the event but, even more importantly, creating a stream of tourism visitors for the country. At the soiree, Representative Jacob Ta-Tung Chang of the Taipei Representative Office in Singapore declared: "The Taipei 2015 - 30th Asian International Stamp Exhibition dazzled Asia. We believe even more deeply that, under the leadership of Chairman Ong, people around the world will be filled with even greater expectations for PHILATAIPEI 2016."

Chunghwa Post expresses its sincere gratitude for the enthusiastic participation of the night's international guests, and invites professionals from all countries and territories -- government postal organizations, philatelic associations, traders, and philatelists -- to come spend time in Taiwan for PHILATAIPEI 2016, being held at the Taipei World Trade Center (Hall 1). It is hoped that Taiwan's first-ever staging of this global exhibition will spark friendship events/activities throughout the international philately realm, and heighten the country's international visibility. PHILATAIPEI 2016 will be a peerless, fascinating philately exhibition, and everyone is invited to Taipei to enjoy the show.
