Churm Media Continues Its Commitment to the Orange County Business Community by Honoring "20 Women to Watch" for 2007

OC METRO Magazine Profiles 20 Influential Women in the O.C.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 15, 2007 -- When Orange County media powerhouse Churm Media identifies "20 Women to Watch," Orange County pays attention. The women on this year's list are some of the most dynamic and interesting in the county, coming from areas as diverse as business, government, education and healthcare.

All 20 were recognized at a private luncheon today hosted by Churm Media to coincide with the publication's 20 Women to Watch issue available today throughout Orange County. Written and visual portraits of each woman were included in today's issue, as well as online at www.ocmetro.com; each was selected for her role in making a difference in Orange County's business community and in people's lives.

Selecting women to watch isn't new for Churm Media -- the company has been doing this for 16 years. But this year has a different spin, according to Churm Media Publisher Steve Churm.

"This year we decided to feature 20, instead of 10 women, on our list, because there are many amazing women making a difference in Orange County," said Churm Media President and OC METRO Publisher Steve Churm. "This is one of the most widely read issues we publish each year."

He added, "Connecting women of influence with each other helps further advance all of the important sectors in our community."

Though the women are all very different, representing the worlds of business, non-profit, government, healthcare, education and law, they all have one common trait -- they are innovative, forward-thinking women of empowerment, who know how to make a difference in their communities.
