Cicero Announces Immediate Availability of Cicero XM Discovery 2.0™

New Release Provides Reporting, Charts, and Dashboards Revealing How Employees Use Desktop Applications

CARY, NC--(Marketwire - March 1, 2011) - Cicero Inc. (OTCBB: CICN), a global leader in customer experience management and desktop integration solutions, announced the general availability of Cicero XM Discovery 2.0, a nimble and configurable tool to capture and record how employees interact with desktop applications to quickly identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.

Cicero XM Discovery, Customer Interaction Solutions Magazine's 2010 Product of the Year, includes information about the applications and windows that a user works with, the web pages they visit, when data is copied and pasted, and more. This usage data enables business analysts to gain a deeper understanding of the frequency and time spent on particular tasks and how applications are used to target areas for process improvement, increasing end-user productivity, and reducing costs. This latest release includes the following new features:

  • A configurable, secure Dashboard to display real time and historical desktop analytics
  • Four new reports: Application Histogram, Application Usage, Application Cut/Paste, Workstation Detail
  • Filters and drill-downs to focus on potential productivity bottlenecks
  • The ability to capture detailed workstation and application inventory and usage (i.e., CPU, RAM, OS, etc.) to assist IT groups

In addition to these out-of-the-box features, Cicero XM Discovery allows companies to create customized reports, charts, and dashboards as well as supply desktop activity data to third-party enterprise analysis and reporting applications (e.g., BI, BAM, BPM, WFM).
