Cicero Releases Cicero XM Discovery 2.1 to Provide Visibility Into Desktop Activities and Application Performance

New Release to Be Showcased at Frost & Sullivan's Customer Contact Europe and NECCF Vendor Expo

(OTCBB: CICN), a global leader in customer experience management and desktop integration solutions, today announced that it has released Cicero XM Discovery 2.1, which adds application performance to its existing award-winning desktop activity monitoring and reporting product.

Using Cicero XM Discovery companies can capture and monitor desktop activities and application performance data to 'find and fix' process bottlenecks and technical problems across the enterprise. This data enables IT to see what applications are used, potential memory issues, web application response times, and other areas for improvement. Business analysts can use the data to gain a deeper understanding of the frequency and time spent on particular tasks and how applications are used to target areas for process improvement. The new features in this latest release allow you to:

  • Collect details on every process running on a workstation including when they started and stopped.
  • Set CPU monitoring thresholds to generate alerts.
  • View system usage information such as resources, memory, threads, processor, and memory pages.
  • Set up and monitor network 'ping' to check workstation connectivity and performance.
