CineMaya Media Group Holds Press Conference in Mumbai, Announces Launch of Its India Operations and the Indian & American Achiever Awards Celebrating India's 60th Anniversary of Independence

(PINKSHEETS: CNMY), the leading South Asian media-entertainment-marketing services company from North America for the Indian Diaspora, announced the LAUNCH of the company's INDIA OPERATIONS and the first CineMaya Media Group Indian & American Achiever Awards at the packed press conference in Mumbai's ITC Grand Maratha Hotel on September 4, 2007. It was announced that the awards will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. Supported by the US-India Business Council, this inaugural event is celebrating the 60th Anniversary of India's Independence and recognizing individuals and MNCs who have contributed towards the collective advancement and growth of the two largest democracies in the world.

The gala event is also featuring performances by internationally acclaimed maestros of Indian music:

Four undergraduate students will be awarded scholarships of $5,000 each (one per category of awards).
