Cineplex Cinemas Downtown Markham and VIP opens Friday, April 3

Markham movie-goers get the red carpet treatment beginning Friday, April 3 - with the opening of Cineplex Cinemas Markham and VIP.

Markham's newest and most-cutting edge movie theatre will feature the latest Hollywood titles, as well as select Chinese language films.

The theatre offers three VIP Cinemas, an IMAX® auditorium, and nine traditional auditoriums. Auditorium two - the largest traditional auditorium - will feature two rows of D-BOX Motion Seats.

Cineplex VIP Cinemas presented by Scotiabank offer luxurious reserved seating; food and beverage service at your seat; licenced auditoriums; and a high-end, licenced lounge - where guests can extend their stay and enjoy the full VIP Cinemas menu.

The VIP Cinemas experience offers all the traditional movie snacks, as well as VIP menu items: calamari, flatbread pizza, wraps, salads and much more. VIP Cinemas also offer a special drink menu, including a wide selection of beer, wine, cocktails and martinis.

IMAX auditoriums offer movie-goers a truly immersive cinematic experience. Cineplex Odeon First Markham Place will close after its last show on Thursday, April 02.
