Cineplex Entertainment Adds Encore Presentations of MET Opera Performances at Select Theatre Locations

Due to the overwhelming response by guests to the "Metropolitan Opera: Live in HD" presentations, opera fans will now be able to enjoy encore presentations of Tan Dun's The First Emperor and Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin at select Cineplex Entertainment theatres throughout Canada.

"The live transmissions of these performances have been a resounding success with many theatres having sold out in advance of the presentation and others selling out the day of the event," said Pat Marshall, Vice-President, Communications and Investor Relations, Cineplex Entertainment.
"Showing encore presentations allows guests who may have missed the live opera performance or who simply want to watch it again the opportunity to do so."

Cineplex Entertainment will be showing encore presentations of Tan Dun's The First Emperor on Saturday March 10th at 1:30 pm (EST)/10:30 am (PT) as well as Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin on Saturday April 7th at 1:30 pm (EST)/10:30 am (PT).
