Cineplex Entertainment Announces Exciting Plans for

Technology partners for expanded website include Bell Canada and ATG

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 26, 2008) - Cineplex Entertainment (TSX:CGX.UN)is substantially expanding its website,, over the next year with added e-commerce initiatives, enhanced functionality and the addition of social media tools to provide more user interaction.

May 2008 traffic which includes page views, unique visits and total visits, is up over 20% versus May 2007. More importantly, online ticketing commerce is up almost 70% due in part to great film product and new online content and promotions. Visitors also have the ability to purchase gift cards with just a few simple clicks.
