Cinsay Receives Additional U.S. Patent Entitled 'Method and System for Generation and Playback of Supplemented Videos' Featuring Hot Spot Technology

Patent No. 9,113,214 for a "Method and System for Generation and Playback of Supplemented Videos": Information corresponding to a hot spot associated with a video is displayed in response to the hot spot being invoked. The information corresponds to one or more products or services displayed in the video. Instructions are dynamically provided to or obtained by a device that displays the video from a location remote from the device. One portion of the instructions identifies the one or more products or services associated with the hot spot and is transmitted to or received at the device through a common channel as the video. Another portion of the instructions obtains the information corresponding to the one or more products or services and is transmitted to or received at the device through a different channel. The instructions cause the device to display the hot spot in a manner invisible to a user, and the different portions of the instructions originate from different servers.
