They're very common skin disorders, and lack effective treatments that don't have the adverse effects of thinning and reddening of the skin, which is common with steroid therapeutics. Due to the variety in levels and severity, psoriasis is another market with a high unmet need, despite advances in biologics. Finally, with more than 80 million (80M) sufferers, acne represents a huge market. With isotretinoin being the only therapeutic demonstrated to cure acne, our formulation, Absorica, addresses this need.
