CipherHealth Announces Rebrand and EVOLVE Suite

New York-Based Technology Company Launches Solutions That Improve Outcomes and Engage Patients Across the Care Continuum

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - September 16, 2014) - CipherHealth, a leader in patient engagement solutions, is pleased to announce the rebrand of the firm, as well as the introduction of the EVOLVE Suite.

CipherHealth made the decision to rebrand following a period of significant growth for the business. The rebrand includes a completely new visual identity and website highlighting the CipherHealth EVOLVE suite of integrated technology solutions -- Echo, Voice, Orchid, Link, and View.

All five CipherHealth solutions allow for seamless integration, helping hospitals prevent readmissions and enhance the overall patient experience across the care continuum. All products capture comprehensive, actionable data that hospitals can use to identify trends and implement improvement projects.

CipherHealth's original solution, Voice, is a post-discharge follow-up program. Hospitals use Voice to reach 100 percent of patients after they go home, identify issues quickly, and intervene to prevent readmissions. Voice, now running in over 30 states, is proven to increase HCAHPS scores.

Orchid is a nurse rounding tool used on a smartphone or tablet that eliminates the need for pen and paper rounding and the manual input of data. Orchid allows nurses to effectively identify issues and automatically alert the appropriate departments for faster resolutions.

Both Voice and Orchid work seamlessly with Echo, our product designed to improve discharge instruction adherence. Echo is a mechanism for recording discharge instructions and storing them in the patient's file for later access. The nurse can record the instructions at the time of discharge, and the patient can replay them during his or her Voice call, or call into a designated number to listen.

Link incorporates the latest in wearable technology that passively tracks patient progress post-discharge. For example, a hip replacement patient is given an activity tracker, such as a Fitbit, and told to walk a certain number of steps per day. The nurse can then track progress through CipherHealth's Link portal, while a patient can track his or her own steps through the Fitbit app. Link alerts hospital staff of any anomalies that may prevent the patient from getting better.

Finally, CipherHealth is set to introduce View, a long-term care management platform. View gives care teams a place to communicate, collaborate, and ensure their patients are headed in the right direction.

The new CipherHealth logo is based on the idea that communication, a dynamic system, and flexibility are paramount. The progression and combination of circles is mean to represent these ideals combined with the smart use of technology and evolution from CipherHealth's previous logo.

Randy Cheung, Co-founder of CipherHealth, said of the new brand, "It's always hard to let go of something you have created and put so much heart into, but realizing how much we have evolved and grown made this an easy decision. The new brand is a reflection of where we have been and where we plan on going."
