CIRI Alberta Hosts "Christmas With a Twist" in Edmonton

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 29, 2010) - The Canadian Investor Relations Institute (CIRI) is pleased to be hosting "Christmas With A Twist", a networking opportunity mixture of learning, giving and celebrating.

Learn: Hear from Mike Polonsky with The Equicom Group as he pokes a little fun at preposterous PowerPoint presentations and teaches you how to create something PowerFul instead. First impressions count and the ability to clearly communicate your Company's value proposition is critical to generating shareholder interest. As change is often a challenge, we invite you to bring your boss for free to see first hand, the punch a solid presentation can provide.

Give: As an entry fee to this social spectacle, please bring a donation to the food bank. Receiving its charter of incorporation in 1981, Edmonton became Canada's first food bank and envisions a community where all citizens have access to an adequate and nutritious supply of food. Please donate.

Celebrate: Come and celebrate the Season and network with some of the brightest stars in the IR profession. This event is free for CIRI members and their bosses as a way of thanking you for your support throughout the year. Non-members are welcome for a small entry fee.
