Cistera Networks Unviels New Enhanced Application Platform for IP Communications -- Once Again Achieving Industry First

Cistera Introduces Version 1.7 of the Cistera Application Platform

ORLANDO, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2007 -- Cistera Networks (OTCBB: CNWT), a leading provider of Enterprise Application Platforms and Engines for IP Communications, announced today at VoiceCon Spring 2007 that the new version 1.7 of the Cistera Application Platform achieves an "industry first" by enabling organizations to experience seamless interoperability with real-time broadcast announcements and recording of conversations across the full spectrum of devices -- IP phones, analog phones, overhead paging systems, two-way radios, mobile phones and PCs -- with full admin control directly from the IP phone screen. Cistera stands alone as the only company to provide the full range of capabilities on a single scalable platform, meeting the needs of the Global 1000 organizations as well as Small and Medium Business (SMB).

Cistera version 1.7 delivers on the company's quest to deliver the critical business applications capabilities to customers in a secure, scaleable and reliable platform. This version of the Cistera Application Platform offers enhanced access and authentication management as well as a bolstered logging mechanism. With Version 1.7, Cistera has fully implemented automated CTI provisioning -- greatly enhancing interoperability with Call Control platforms such as Cisco Call Manager. Cepstral's Text-to-Speech (TTS) engine has also been integrated with Cistera's platform.

All of the Application Engines for version 1.7 have been significantly enhanced. The highlights include the addition of advanced pre-provisioning and more configurable call tagging, expanded media management including support for Ogg Vorbis, more robust reporting, archiving and retrieval capabilities. Also included in this version is enhanced desktop monitoring and full screen-capture for CallCenterRecord Enhanced.

"We have spent a great deal of time listening to our customers and partners and Version 1.7 reflects all of the input by offering the most comprehensive platform for the delivery of Application Driven Telephony in the industry," says original founder and CTO, Greg Royal.
