Ci&T Expands Asian-Pacific Market Presence

Establishes Ci&T Pacific to Support Worldwide Demand for Its Services

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA--(Marketwire - June 16, 2009) - Ci&T (www.ciandt.com), a consulting and technology outsourcing services company, today announced a joint venture with Rococo, a Japanese software development company that develops IT infrastructure and application management software for companies like Panasonic, IBM and NEC. The new venture, Ci&T Pacific, will be based in Tokyo with a software development center in Ningbo, China.

Part of Ci&T's value proposition is its ability to deliver services to different regions of the world. It does this by operating within its customers' proximity to emulate the culture and eliminate any language barriers -- leading to more efficient project management and better support service. The creation of Ci&T Pacific furthers this by allowing Ci&T to best serve its clients in the Asia-Pacific region and to offer them the same capabilities it provides to the rest of the world.

"By providing development and customer service that understands the local culture, Ci&T Pacific is positioning itself for growth within the Asia-Pacific region," said Kazuhiko Hasegawa, CEO, Rococo. "This venture also enables Rococo's current clients to tap into Ci&T's wealth of expertise and innovative practices such as lean IT and agile methodologies."

The Asia-Pacific region has long been a hotbed for outsourcing services, but projects are often derailed by the lack of commonalities between regional and Western cultures. With a close and heightened understanding of the local culture and language, Ci&T Pacific will alleviate these concerns, eliminating the barriers to the efficient service that companies desire.

"The joint venture with Rococo to form Ci&T Pacific is invaluable to both Ci&T and Rococo clients," said Leonardo Mattiazzi, vice president, international business, Ci&T. "Ci&T Pacific enables round-the-clock innovation and services to ensure that customers have what they need to conduct business 24-hours a day."

Currently, 40 percent of Ci&T's revenue is coming from the North American market. With this venture, Ci&T expects an increase in its export revenues, which should represent 50 percent of the company's total revenue by 2011. Ci&T is a symbol of innovation in the outsourcing space. It is recognized for the excellence of the services it provides to global giants like Yahoo!, Johnson & Johnson, Avon, MetLife, Google and Petrobras.
