"Larry David and David Steinberg in Conversation" at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles on September 28; Tickets Available for Purchase by Citi Cardmembers Only at www.citiprivatepass.com

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 29, 2014) - Citi® today announced an exclusive event with Larry David and David Steinberg. The conversation-style event will take place in Downtown Los Angeles at The Theatre at Ace Hotel on Sunday, September 28 at 7:00PM. Tickets will be available for purchase exclusively by Citi cardmembers via www.citiprivatepass.com beginning Tuesday, July 29th at 12:00 PM PDT. This event is a collaboration with Carolines on Broadway's live entertainment division and is the first in a series of comedy events available exclusively for Citi cardmembers.

Larry David co-created "Seinfeld," which debuted in 1989, and went on to become one of the most successful shows in television history. In 1999, David wrote and starred in "Larry David: Curb Your Enthusiasm," a one-hour special for HBO, which spawned the critically acclaimed HBO series that ran for eight seasons. In 2009, he starred in Woody Allen's comedy "Whatever Works." David was honored with the WGA's Paddy Chayefsky Laurel Award for Television in 2010. Most recently, he co-wrote and starred in the HBO Films' comedy, "Clear History," which aired in 2013.

The New York Times called the DGA and Emmy award-winning David Steinberg "a cross between Woody Allen and Lenny Bruce" and "a comic institution all by himself." Beginning his comedy career at Second City, he influenced the careers of John Belushi, Bill Murray, John Candy, and many more. Steinberg's prolific career as a stand-up comedian includes four comedy albums and two Grammy nominations. He has directed many shows, including "Friends," "Mad About You," and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Currently, Steinberg has teamed with Steve Carell as Executive Producer and star of Showtime's documentary series "Inside Comedy" which is set to begin its fourth season. He can also be seen in the documentary "Quality Balls - The David Steinberg Story".

"Larry David and David Steinberg have helped shape a generation of comedy through their timeless work," said Jennifer Breithaupt, SVP of Entertainment Marketing for Citi. "We're thrilled to kick off this unique comedy series with two of the greats and look forward to bringing Citi cardmembers more laughs in the future."
