Citizen Care, Inc. Receives $1,000 From Wells Fargo on Behalf of Acordia Volunteer Service Award Winner

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- August 22, 2005 -- Acordia, Inc., a Wells Fargo Company, announced today that Martin Sporrer, Acordia Account Executive in Pittsburgh, Pa., received the 2005 Volunteer Service Award from Wells Fargo in recognition of the valuable contributions he has made to Citizen Care, Inc. Wells Fargo will contribute $1,000 to Citizen Care, Inc. in Sporrer's honor.

Citizen Care, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization providing outcome-based support and services to people with mental and physical challenges, as well as mental health services to children and adolescents with behavioral health challenges. Sporrer has been a key member of the organization's Fundraising Committee for nearly 14 years where he develops and implements a variety of special fundraising events throughout the year on behalf of Citizen Care, Inc.

The Volunteer Service Award Program gives Wells Fargo team members the chance to win up to $50,000 for the non-profit organization or K-12 school where they volunteer. Sporrer is one of 164 Wells Fargo team members and one of five Acordia team members across the country to receive a Volunteer Service Award this year. In total, $320,000 will be awarded to the winners' organizations. Winners are chosen based on the team member's dedication to the organization, effectiveness of their work, amount of personal time volunteered and the value of their work to their community.
