Citizens Business Bank Commends BankServ's Global Funds Exchange (GFX) Service Bureau for Superior Wire Support

SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - March 26, 2008) - BankServ (, worldwide experts in electronic payments, today announced that Citizens Business Bank of Ontario, CA, is fully up and running with BankServ's Global Funds Exchange (GFX) Service Bureau. Citizens Business Bank, the 12th largest bank in California with assets of over $6 billion, joined the GFX family of banks on February 26.

Citizens Business Bank had been in the market for a flexible and scalable Fedwire payments system to meet their high-volume wire demands and customer service needs. BankServ's GFX software, which automates the domestic wire transfer process and includes real-time connectivity to the Federal Reserve's Fedwire network, was the ideal solution for Citizens. By choosing BankServ's Service Bureau option, Citizens was able to quickly implement GFX and connect to the Fedwire network with minimal IT requirements.

"Citizens Business Bank commends BankServ for their GFX Service Bureau solution and for their exceptional project management support," commented Monica Sampson, Citizens Business Bank VP & Central Operations Manager. "BankServ's team was there with us throughout the entire implementation process and has lived up to their 'superior customer service' motto. The implementation process went very smoothly and required little involvement of our bank's IT resources. Citizens looks forward to using the GFX system and can relax knowing BankServ's Service Bureau will securely handle the back-end technical support for our bank."

"We welcome Citizens Business Bank and appreciate their trust in the GFX Service Bureau," said Dennis Mierzwa, Vice President of Wire Services, BankServ. "We have worked hard to develop a solution that enables banks to quickly and securely handle their wire demands. This solution is more than just high-quality software; it is an expert Service Bureau team dedicated to act as an extension of a bank's resources. To maintain our reputation as the top Fedwire solution, our team works hard and takes great pride in going the extra step to help our banks during the implementation phase and beyond."

To complement the new Fedwire processing system, Citizens Business Bank has also chosen BankServ's TurboSwift Service Bureau solution to meet its international payment needs. TurboSwift, a full-featured and certified messaging interface used by banks around the world for secure international payments messaging, conforms to SWIFT standards and is a cost-effective and highly accredited system. Citizens plans to go operational with TurboSwift later this month.
