City Auto Named #1 Internet Pre-Owned Automobile Dealer

MEMPHIS, TN -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 23, 2006 -- City Auto is the number one Internet pre-owned auto dealer in Auto Dealer Monthly Magazine's 2006 rankings, beating out dealerships in Dallas, Miami, Houston, Phoenix, Cleveland, San Diego, and Las Vegas. This marks the third year that City Auto has been recognized on the list, having received the number 3 ranking in 2005. In addition, City Auto claims the number 11 spot in overall 2006 Internet automobile sales, up from 17th place in 2005. They project sales of over $115 million for 2006, due in part to several record-breaking months to date.

City Auto takes a different approach to selling cars than other dealerships. This direct approach to car sales is the key to their success. Rankings were determined by Auto Dealer Monthly magazine by calculating overall and pre-owned internet sales for the 2005 calendar year.

City Auto, located on Elmore Rd. in Memphis, TN, opened its doors in 1986 and is the largest pre-owned and wholesale dealer in the South. They are celebrating their 20th anniversary with big plans for a renovation. In addition, their new service center opened earlier this year.
