City Council Commends Dinyari Corporation for Contributions to San Jose Environment and Economy

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwire - August 22, 2007) - Mayor Chuck Reed recognized Dinyari Corporation in a commendation -- presented at Tuesday's San Jose City Council meeting -- for the benefits the company provides to the San Jose economy and community.

Headquartered in San Jose, and incorporated in 1989, Dinyari has grown to become one of the nation's top cool roof systems providers. The company uses environmentally friendly, non-toxic materials manufactured from renewable resources made in the United States. Demonstrating Dinyari's overall commitment to the environment, the company is in the process of converting its fleet of more than 40 vehicles to biodiesel.

In 2006, Dinyari ranked 45th in Roofing/Siding/Insulation (RSI) magazine's annual Top 100 list of contractors with more then $19.5 million in volume.

The City of San Jose commendation recognized Dinyari for making San Jose a leader in Green Industries and for creating job opportunities in San Jose and Silicon Valley and investing in initiatives that will fuel further vibrancy and growth.

Dinyari was also cited in the commendation as being a valued partner in the San Jose community for its noteworthy contributions towards promoting and sustaining the continued economic and environmental dynamism that exemplifies San Jose and Silicon Valley.

The commendation presented by the Mayor and City Council is a part of San Jose's Business Appreciation Initiative, a key component of the City's "Economic Development Strategy" and "Getting Families Back to Work" effort. This business-retention effort recognizes San Jose companies that meet at least one of the following criteria: fast-growth, significant sales tax generator, large employer, or publicly traded company headquartered in San Jose.
