City of Montreal/Montreal High Lights Festival All Nighter:
Invitation to All Night Owls

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 25, 2005) - The Mayor of Montreal,
Gerald Tremblay, and the President of City Council, Marcel Parent, will
be pleased to welcome Montrealers to City Hall for the Montreal High
Lights Festival All-Nighter. Starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February
26th and continuing until 3 a.m. the next morning, the Hall of Honour
will resonate with the rhythms of music and dances from around the
world. Throughout the night, dance and music troupes from countries
including Portugal, Lebanon and Spain will be on hand to entertain High
Lights revelers.

The city hall All-Nighter is returning following the outstanding success
of last year's event. The program promises to be extremely diversified
and will feature something for all tastes. "The Nuit Blanche is a
perfect opportunity to visit city hall in a festive atmosphere and it is
always a pleasure to welcome Montrealers! Once again, Montrealers' love
of festivals will be honoured," said Mr. Tremblay and Mr. Parent.

As well, at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight, a "sound and lights" show will
illuminate city hall. This colourful and exciting display should not be
missed. There will be shuttle service every 10 minutes so that people
can take advantage of some of the fifty different activities that are
planned. In addition to the party at city hall, there will be special
programs at other locations in Old Montreal including the
Pointe-a-Calliere Museum, the Montreal Science Centre and the Chateau
Ramezay Museum.

City hall is located at 275 Notre-Dame East, just a few steps from the
Champ-de-Mars Metro station. The complete program is available on the
Internet at the festival site: www.montrealenlumiere.com and at the City
of Montreal's site: www.ville.montreal.qc.ca.
