City of Greenwood Village Joins the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO--(Marketwired - June 30, 2016) - City of Greenwood Village announced it has joined BidNet's Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System and will be publishing and distributing upcoming bid opportunities on the system. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System connects 168 participating agencies from across Colorado. The purchasing group provides vendors one, online location to access bids from participating agencies throughout the state.

City of Greenwood Village joined the purchasing group in June. At this time, no further bid opportunities will be published on the previous purchasing platform, Quest CDN.

City of Greenwood Village will utilize the purchasing group to streamline the purchasing process including bid management, bid distribution and vendor relations. The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System is used to manage sourcing information and activities and provides 168 Colorado local government agencies the tools needed to have a streamlined bid process while collaborating with other local procurement professionals and registered vendors.

The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System expands an agency's vendor pool and enhances vendor competition without increasing distribution costs. In addition to the existing vendors on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, all vendors looking to do business with City of Greenwood Village can register online: City of Greenwood Village invites all interested bidders to register today.

Registered vendors can access all participating agency open bids, related documents and files, additional addendum and award information. In addition, the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System offers a value-added service to notify vendors of new bids targeted to their industry, all addenda and advance notification of expiring term contracts.
