City of Miami Gardens, Florida Will Host 2007 Super Bowl XLI

MIAMI GARDENS, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 1, 2007 --On Sunday, February 4th, 2007, the City of Miami Gardens, Florida will host Super Bowl XLI. The game will be played at Dolphin Stadium, 2269 Dan Marino Boulevard, 33056, located in the heart of Miami Gardens, Florida.

"We're excited about the Super Bowl being played in Miami Gardens. We've got two great teams, led by two phenomenal black coaches playing for the football championship title in Miami Gardens, the largest city in Florida that has a majority of black residents. Led by Mayor Shirley Gibson and a council of six, Miami Gardens is the third (3rd) largest city in Miami-Dade County, and is the thirty-third (33rd) municipality to be incorporated in Miami-Dade County. The City has a diverse population of more than 107,000, 80 percent of whom are African-Americans and 15 percent Hispanic.

Miami Gardens, home to Dolphins Stadium and Calder Racetrack, boasts vibrant commercial corridors along the Palmetto Expressway that serves as the central shopping district for the furniture trade and along State Road 7/U.S. 441, supporting the automobile trade.
