City of Mississauga Opens New Transit Body Shop

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 19, 2008) - Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion and representatives from the federal and provincial orders of government will officially open Mississauga Transit's new state-of-the-art body shop.

The body shop is part of a multi-year Campus Expansion Project which will transform Mississauga Transit's operational facilities at its Central Parkway Campus and help prepare for an increase in ridership growth.

Displays at the event will feature the City of Mississauga transit projects
including the Bus Rapid Transit Project and Transit Security.

Parking & Shuttle Service:
Parking is available in front of the body shop and a shuttle bus will run
from the Civic Centre (north entrance) at: 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., 1 p.m.,
1:45 p.m. and. 2:30 p.m.
