City of Portland Awards iovation Gold Certification for Sustainability at Work

Company Recognized for Helping Make Portland One of the Cleanest and Most Sustainable Cities in the US

PORTLAND, OR--(Marketwired - Jan 20, 2015) - iovation, the trusted source for mobile and online fraud prevention, today announced the City of Portland awarded the company with the Sustainability at Work gold certification. Portland's Sustainability at Work division awarded iovation based on how the company positively impacts the environment and local community. Sustainability at Work is a City of Portland program that helps businesses advance green initiatives in the workplace and improve their environmental practices.

"We're proud to be recognized for our sustainability efforts," said Vice President of Operations Molly O'Hearn. "As a corporate citizen we believe that going green, including recycling and composting, should be a baseline for how we conduct business and minimize our impact on the environment. We hope that this recognition will inspire other companies to participate in the program as well."

Sustainability at Work specifically honored iovation for offering one remote working day a week to cut down on commuting, recycling and repurposing old technology, using green caterers, replacing paper kitchen products with durable dishware, volunteering to clean local parks and gardens, residing in a LEED Silver certified building, and more.

Sustainability at Work offers comprehensive, free resources and expertise for Portland organizations seeking to create a more sustainable workplace. These services are tailored to help each business conserve resources, improve efficiency, save money and provide a healthy and quality workspace for employees. To recognize and promote the work of businesses that have taken comprehensive and concrete actions to reduce carbon emissions, Sustainability at Work provides certification that is valid for three years.
