City of Ottawa First in Canada to Use Envista's Automated Enterprise Class Cloud Based System for Utility Coordination

Streamlines Process Workflows for More Efficient Project Planning, Municipal Consent, Permitting and Coordination

BEVERLY, MA--(Marketwire - Nov 30, 2011) - Envista Corporation, the world's leading provider of enterprise right-of-way (ROW) coordination solutions via the web, today announced that the City of Ottawa, Ontario has selected the Envista Enterprise ROW Coordination Platform to automate its municipal consent, and infrastructure project coordination processes. The City is the first municipality in Canada to engage an extended ecosystem of gas, electric and telecommunications utilities in adopting Envista's enterprise suite of cloud-based solutions, including Project Coordination, Attachment Management, Citizen's View and the newly developed Municipal Consent module.

Ottawa has taken exceptional steps to streamline paper-based processes by gaining upfront buy-in from Enbridge Gas Distribution, Hydro Ottawa, Bell Canada, and Rogers to coordinate with the City through the Envista platform. As a result, all stakeholders can view project information in a visually rich, dynamic online environment and share documents electronically using Envista's built-in workflow engine.
