Claim Post Resources Announces Discovery of a New VMS System

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 27, 2009) - Claim Post Resources Inc. (the "Company") is pleased to announce the completion of their winter drill program on the Company's wholly owned Kamiskotia Property 20 km NW of Timmins Ontario. The program was successful in locating a new VMS system 9 km SW of the Kam-Kotia Mine and 9 km due west of the Jamison Mine.

A total of 1140m of diamond drilling was completed in 3 holes. The initial 2 diamond drill holes tested Fugro anomaly 4; which is the first anomaly drill tested out of the 17 deep EM anomalies modelled by Fugro for Claim Post. A series of centimetre wide layers of semi to massive sulphides comprised of Pyrite and Pyrrhotite explained the anomaly. Chlorite and Sericite alteration is associated with the Sulfides. A down the hole EM survey confirmed the main anomaly and indicated a second deeper off hole response that needs to be evaluated.

The third diamond drill hole; CP-08-09 was drilled NS at a 45 degree dip to a depth of 506m to test Fugro Anomaly 2. The drill hole intersected a broad intersection of trace to 30% sulphides as Pyrite - Pyrrhotite mineralization from 434.7m to 473.3m coincident with lithological changes from mafic to intermediate then felsic rocks. The well defined conductive surface expression of Fugro Anomaly 2 is 1 km by 1.5 km in area. Drill hole CP 09 is located at the east edge of the anomaly. Multiple DTH EM surveys indicate a second shallower off hole response that may have been the airborne conductor.

Weak but geochemically anomalous base metal mineralization was indicated in a number of locations in hole CP-08-09; for example samples 8593 to 8598 all show anomalous base metals from 50 to 586 ppm Cu, 88 to 344 ppm Ni and 93 to 498 ppm Zn from 224m to 231.7m. In the main sulphide area elevated copper and zinc values were intersected; for example 686 ppm Cu from 406.5m to 406.9m and 1470 ppm Zn from 434.3m to 434.5m down the hole. The true width of the sulphide zone based on core angles is about 35 meters.

"Intersecting a new, wide sulphide zone at depth in the same area as the historical Kam-Kotia and Jamison Mines is very encouraging" quotes Charles Gryba "and it will take several more drill holes followed by detailed assaying to triangulate towards higher grade VMS mineralization; the main thing is that we have intersected a new large VMS system in a mine proven area."

The culmination of the work program completes the Phase One aspect of the National Instrument 43-101 report authored by D. George Cargill P. Eng. The combination of drilling a mother hole followed by DTH EM surveys is proving to be a cost effective way to locate and evaluate the Fugro modelled complicated, deep anomalies.
