Clarabridge Reports Record Growth in 2014

Customer Experience Leader Capitalizes on Industry Trends to Engage With Global Brands as They Better Serve and Understand Their Customers

RESTON, VA--(Marketwired - Feb 26, 2015) -  Clarabridge, Inc., the leading provider of Customer Experience Management (CEM) solutions for the world's top brands, today announced over 50% year-over-year bookings growth in 2014 -- a record for the company. The software provider, who already serves customers like ADP, Verizon, Rackspace, and Orbitz, more than doubled its acquisition of new customers in 2014 vs. 2013, resulting in a total of 450 major brands served. These new customers included Belk in North America, Virgin Active in Europe, CIRSA in Spain and Latin America, and more. Additionally, the company also expanded its international presence, with offices in Singapore and Barcelona.

"Our growth numbers are a reflection of our ability to anticipate the needs of the marketplace and rapidly innovate to meet those demands," Sid Banerjee CEO at Clarabridge said. "When we started Clarabridge a few years ago, our business premise was simple -- to provide the software platforms to collect and transform customer feedback, so that companies might more strategically act on customer experience insights. Today that concept has become reality, and Clarabridge solutions are helping companies worldwide to activate customer intelligence, improve customer experiences and loyalty, and win in the marketplace. We know that our success is dependent on that of our customers -- a model that drives us to deliver the very best solutions and tools every day."

Gartner research shows that, by 2016, 89% of companies believe that customer experience will be their primary basis for competition, versus 36% four years ago. The research also revealed that nearly three quarters of companies expect to increase technology spending on customer experience in 2015.

To stay ahead of these industry trends, Clarabridge has fueled its growth and customer retention through upgraded technologies with the release of numerous platform enhancements in 2014, to include a new social analytics tool, a speech analytics capability, and the addition of a best-in-class survey offering. The company also enhanced its user interface, making its customer insights consumable by an increased number of users. New offerings include:

  • Clarabridge Speech - a solution that automates the analysis of large volumes of call center recordings.
  • Clarabridge Survey - an intelligent survey platform that dynamically changes based on respondent feedback, allowing for more targeted, relevant questions.
  • Clarabridge Social - a social media analysis tool that allows businesses to interpret conversations from Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare and other popular social media sites.

Clarabridge also formed a number of new partnerships in 2014, including Intuitive Solutions, Convergys, and Pandera Systems. These partnerships will help Clarabridge expand its solution set and penetrate new industries, such as healthcare.

To accommodate for employee growth and the influx of new talent in 2014, Clarabridge also renovated and expanded its headquarters, doubling its square footage. Notable accolades include Washington Business Journal's recognition of CEO Sid Banerjee as a "Most Admired CEO" and CFO Bas Brukx as a finalist for the Northern Virginia Technology Council CFO of the Year award.
