Breunig brings nearly three decades of experience in finance and has spent most of the past two decades in prominent positions at Synapse Group, a leading subscription commerce firm.

In his previous position, Breunig served as Chief Financial Officer of Akademos, Inc., where he oversaw its financial and human resource functions, starting in February 2014. Before joining Akademos, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Synapse Group, Inc., a division of Time Inc. and the largest provider of subscription marketing services to the magazine industry. Prior to that, Breunig held various financial positions at Cendant Membership Services, a loyalty marketing company; Fraser Papers, a paper manufacturer; and Arthur Andersen. Breunig earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Bucknell University and is a certified public accountant.
