Classical Conversations' Need for Speed Had Them Turn to MediaValet

FREDERICKSBURG, VA and VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - December 23, 2014) - Classical Conversations, an organization that helps train and equip parents to provide their children with a Christian, classical education at home, has moved from using a cumbersome locally hosted digital asset management system (DAMS) to MediaValet's (TSX VENTURE: MVP) cloud-based DAMS in order to centralize, organize, secure and deliver their library of education materials to tutors and parents nationwide.

A Christian-based learning company, Classical Conversations offers support and accountability for homeschooling parents who wish to provide a classical education for their children. Parents are trained to teach their children classically through Classical Conversations' summer practicum events; licensed parent-tutors then lead small groups of students weekly in local communities. Given its nature, the organization has large amounts of learning and instruction videos and materials that need to be consistently and efficiently shared with geographically dispersed communities.

"We are a large and growing organization with educators spread across the country," said Jennifer Greenholt, Production Director, Classical Conversations MultiMedia. "As the size of our library and teaching community grew, we experienced impractical response times when accessing our local servers."

In evaluating new systems, Classical Conversations had a number of criteria. The new DAMS would need to be accessible to all users (no matter where they were), ensure that all digital assets were backed up and secure at all times, be easy to use by all levels of users, and have fast response times. "We selected MediaValet as it fulfilled all our requirements and more. We specifically appreciated the pricing structure, as it provides for unlimited users and support, the simple user interface, and the robust search features," continued Jennifer Greenholt.

Still in the process of implementing MediaValet fully across their entire organization, Classical Conversations has already benefited from the increased speed and accessibility that MediaValet delivers. MediaValet's renowned customer service and support has also been a tremendous help in getting them set up quickly.

"We're pleased to see the benefits Classical Conversations has gained from using MediaValet so early on in the implementation process," commented David MacLaren, President and CEO of MediaValet. "Built entirely on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform, our customers benefit from the most robust and secure cloud infrastructure the world has to offer."

About Classical Conversations

Our purpose is to lead the home-centered education movement by equipping parents and students with the classical tools of learning needed to discover the order and beauty of God's creation and to inspire others to do the same.

We believe parents are their children's first and best teachers, not because parents know everything, but because each child is uniquely (and wonderfully!) made and because the people who know and love a child best are the ones most motivated to help that child succeed.
