ClassOne Unveils New Drain Block for Semitool(R) SST/SAT Product Line

New Valve Block a Direct Replacement for Semitool Drain Manifold

ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - Oct 4, 2013) - ClassOne Equipment announced today that it will be displaying its new manifold valve products at Semicon Europa. The new manifold valves are made exclusively for ClassOne Equipment by the world-class manufacturer Gemű, and directly replace the original Semitool drain valve manifolds on Spray Solvent Tools (SST), Spray Acid Tools (SAT). Based on Gemű's highly successful C50 iComLine actuators, seats, and seals, and packaged to fit the dimensions and configuration of the original, these field-proven valves are field fittable to existing tools.

All wetted parts of these valves are fabricated using TFM™ (PTFE) and include Kalrez® O-rings for superior performance and chemical resistance. External operator parts are made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF). Further, each valve is individually tested and double-bagged in a cleanroom environment. Each manifold is warranted, and testing on the C50 has demonstrated more than 3 million cycles in some applications, or approximately 10 years* of constant use in a typical resist-strip, de-veil, or metal-lift-off application. Shipments of the 6-way drain or 8-way drain valve manifold configurations will commence in volume quantities October 15, 2013. Other configurations will follow as customer needs dictate.

"The new valve manifold provides superior performance and longevity over existing replacement valves," said Kevin Witt, Vice President of Technology. "As a result of our work with Gemű, we are offering the most robust and reliable valve on the market for SST's. With over 2,500 tools sold by ClassOne Equipment around the world, we can leverage our mature market channel to provide these critical parts to any customer at a very competitive price and provide exemplary support and customer-first service."

The new drain block will be displayed in ClassOne's booth (#1504) at SEMICON Europa in Dresden, Germany from October 8th through 10th and can be ordered as an off-the-shelf part or as an upgrade for SST and SAT tools remanufactured by ClassOne Equipment.

*Estimated lifetime is based upon a 15 minute recipe which cycles the valve block 8 times.
