CLE Program Provides Professionals Involved With the Creation, Operation, and Marketing of Collective Trust Funds With Essential Updates

PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - April 08, 2014) - American Law Institute Continuing Legal Education (ALI CLE) is pleased to announce its upcoming program, Collective Trust Funds Today: Recent Developments in Banking, SEC, and ERISA Regulation and Compliance, that will take place on May 14 at Thomson Hall in New York, NY.

This program is a must-attend for legal and compliance professionals involved in the creation and sale of collective trust funds CTFs, including bank counsel, securities lawyers, and ERISA counsel, as well as anyone seeking a better comprehension of the legal and compliance framework in which collective trust funds operate.

"The course is designed as a briefing on the most significant recent regulatory developments impacting CTFs, as well as an examination of key legal issues for CTFs and trends in the CTF marketplace," says course chair Clifford E. Kirsch, a partner at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan LLP in New York.

The various segments of the program will cover recent development in the marketplace for CTFs and their competing products, ERISA issues relating to CTFs, the OCC regulatory agenda, municipal adviser regulation, marketing and distribution activities, and third-party advisers in the CTF space.

"I know how difficult it is these days to get away for an extended period of time, so we've scheduled the program as a one-day event," adds Kirsch. "In order to make sure that attendees' time is well spent, we've structured the panel discussion to provide them with discussion and analysis of all the important CTF developments."

And while the faculty is comprised of the top legal, compliance, and financial service professionals from across the country including in-house counsel, corporate executives, and private practitioners, these esteemed professional representatives are not inaccessible. This program is uniquely structured to enable more interaction among registrants and faculty than in the typical CLE program. As Kirsch notes, "By limiting attendance, we've maintained an intimate seminar feel to the program, which is designed to facilitate conversation and make sure that registrants' questions will be answered."

The course provides more than 6 hours of CLE instruction and up to 7.5 CPE credit hours in Accounting. To register or obtain further information, click here.
