Solar Finance Stars Join the Clean Power Finance Team


SAN FRANCISCO, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 6, 2011) - Clean Power Finance, the leading provider of integrated services and financing solutions for the solar industry, today announced Kristian Hanelt as Senior Vice President of Renewable Capital Markets, and Brian Robertson, CEO of Amonix and co-founder of SunEdison, and Ed Feo, Managing Partner of USRG Renewable Finance, join the Clean Power Finance Board of Directors.

Hanelt joins Clean Power Finance from Tioga Energy where he served as Vice President of Project Finance. As a member of the founding team, Hanelt developed Tioga's position as a leading developer of commercial solar systems. Hanelt now brings his extensive experience financing energy projects to further Clean Power Finance's mission to drive the mass-market adoption of solar. Hanelt holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS from Boston University.

Clean Power Finance's Renewable Capital Markets Team is comprised of tenured investment professionals who have led project finance on more than 100 commercial solar systems across seven funds. In addition to Hanelt, solar industry finance veterans Brian Robertson and Ed Feo bring their extensive experience and diversity of skills to the Clean Power Finance Board of Directors.

The co-founder as well as former president and CFO of the largest commercial solar finance company, SunEdison, Robertson brings twenty years of financial, manufacturing and execution experience. Today, Robertson is the CEO of Amonix, the leading designer and manufacturer of concentrated photovoltaic commercial power systems. Robertson has a BS in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Feo was identified for his work in renewable energy as one of "The Decade's Most Influential Lawyers" by The National Law Journal, and named one of the "Five Most Influential People in Renewable Energy" by Euromoney/Institutional Investor. Feo holds a BA and JD from UCLA.
