Clear Measure Hires Andrew Siemer, Former Dell.com Chief Architect

Siemer is responsible for the architecture of solutions that help customers transition to the cloud, modernize legacy systems, build e-commerce platforms, and other critical initiatives to drive their business success. He also will help drive Clear Measure's industry-leading best practices enterprise-wide to ensure that the highest quality and most current innovations are met and maintained so that Clear Measure clients achieve their business objectives.

Siemer brings more than 15 years of expertise in software engineering and architecture. He specializes in enterprise-scale and database-driven web applications, primarily focused on business intelligence and e-commerce platforms, along with PCI compliance. Siemer has a strong focus on Microsoft technologies, including Asp.NET, Asp.NET MVC, Web API, C#, and SQL Server. In addition to distributed databases, he has cloud expertise, and has developed custom software for the Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Rackspace cloud environments.

As a chief architect at Dell, Siemer was responsible for all technical decisions for Dell.com as well as all other initiatives under the consumer business program. For example, he helped to create a highly optimized distributed and mobile first responsive Dell.com experience; implemented a large enterprise agile approach across many functional teams; enabled a true continuous delivery experience for the entire e-Dell group; and helped drive the Dell.com architecture toward Azure to help ensure 100% up time for Black Friday traffic. Siemer also was a member of the engineering excellence/architecture team across all commerce platforms to help drive a more mature architecture with cross-program consistency.

Previously, Siemer held software engineering and solutions architect positions at SpeakTECH, Lender Processing Services Inc., OTX Research, Intermix Media/FOX Interactive and other companies. He is a Microsoft Virtual Technology Specialist (V-TSP), ASP Insider, and a member of the Azure Advisors Program. Siemer published three books on programming, reviews technical articles and serves as a frequent speaker at industry events.
